or Austrian Firms if Eritish Firms can be found to take up the

business, becruse the trade as conducted by Ceran Firms wee, I om

convinced, not clean.

Apart from contracts with the Chinese Covern-

-nent the legitimate trade "hich consists in supplying firesnis for the use of junks and villagers in China as a protection againstį pirates and robbers is not large. Yet it is possible that the open-

-ing for trade might be brought to the notice of manufacturers in

Great Britain.
